By CAR From North
Travelling south from North of Scotland is quite easy to Pitlochry as you will best to make your way south on the A9 from Inverness and passing through Aviemore. Continue down the A9 passing the sign and cut off fro Killecrankie until you see the A924 cut off. Take cut off for the A924 and after about 1000ft the road will bend to the right until you come to a give way. Take the left turn from the give way and then you will be entering Pitlochry town.  Please driver slowly once in town as Pitlochry is a very busy Tourist town.

By CAR From the South Scotland & England
Travelling from the south, (West Side), follow the A74 / M74 and take the M73 until it joins the A80 continue northwards until the A80 changes into the M80 and further northwards you will look for the A9 Perth and once you reach the A9 it will be a continuous road until you see the signs for Pitlochry.    Travelling from the south, (East Side), follow the A1 for Edinburgh Forth Road Bridge.  Pick up signs for Forth Road bridge and once you cross Forth Road bridge you will be travelling northwards on the M90 and further northwards you will look for the A9 Perth and once you reach the A9 it will be a continuous road until you see the signs for Pitlochry.

By CAR From Glasgow Airport     92 Miles from Glasgow International Airport
From Glasgow Airport, just head for the Signs of M8 East Glasgow City.  Travel on M8 through Glasgow and pick up signs for Stirling M80.  Connect onto M80 and stay on a continuous road that then changes into A8, M80, A9 (Perth) and then look for signs for Pitlochry.
Journey time is under 2 hours

By CAR From Prestwick Airport     122 Miles from Glasgow International Airport
From Prestwick Airport take the A79 north which will connect you to the A78.  Take the A78 to the A77 North(3 munite drive) and from there take the A77 northward towards Glasgow M8. Connecting onto the M8 East bound for Glasgow Travel through Glasgow City on M8 and pick up signs for Stirling M80.  Connect onto M80 and stay on a continuous road that then changes into A8, M80, A9 (Perth) and then look for signs for Pitlochry.
Journey time is approx 2 hours 30 minutes

By CAR From Edinburgh Airport   ( 70 Miles from Edinburgh Airport )
From Edinburgh, head towards the Forth Road bridge and once you cross the Forth Road Bridge you will be travelling northwards on the M90 and further northwards you will look for the A9 Perth and once you reach the A9 it will be a continuous road until you see the signs for Pitlochry.
Journey time is approx 1 hour 20 minutes

By TRAIN
Trains for Pitlochry leave Edinburgh Waverley Station, Journey time is 1 and a half hours.
Trains for Pitlochry also leave Glasgow Queen Street Station.  Again the Journey time is 1 and a half hours.


By BUS or COACH
