Pitlochry Tourist Information.

Pitlochry, a small Blair Athol Distillery - Pitlochry Tourist Attractiontown with a population at the last cencus is at 2,564. It lies on River Tummel, 5 miles North west of the intersection with River Tay.  It has the Pitlochry Festival Theatre and the Highland games in August. There is the Pitlochry Dam and the Salmon ladder. Blair Athol Distillery is located in the east of the Town and Edradour, the smallest distillery in the world, is 1 mile north of the town. Killiecrankie and the soldiers leap is only 2 miles away.  Aberfeldy and Kenmore are 10 and 16 miles respectively from Pitlochry. Dunkeld and Birnam are 11 miles south of Pitlochry and Kinloch Rannoch is 9 miles west.   Near Kenmore we have the Scottish Crannog Centre and Taymouth Castle and Castle Menzies.
