I am the webmaster for ga-taxis and have made this page up in the hope that it comes up for the search term "Taxiroute",
Only time will tell.
The Reason for this, is we believe Taxiroute is using technique to contact people through our servers of which we have expressly stated that we do not want this
to happen! There's no way we will deal with Taxiroute which states it is a Taxi Route Cab Fare Calculator
Basically on the 1st of March 2009 we received e-mails, approx 6, through our servers from Taxiroute who were trying to contact some of our clients, (as they thought),
using e-mails from our domain that were originally hidden within our site. The e-mails that they used where encoded within our form mail and the only way Taxiroute
could have received our e-mail addresses is either by un coding our mail from within our site, then trying to spam each clients e-mail or by buying the mail from
someone who is selling our e-mails. On our forms it states that you can only contact the accommodation mention on the form mail from our forms only regarding enquiry
to stay and that trying to contact them using our domains/servers will be deemed illegal by us.
We contacted the owner/registrant, Trevor Daniels of TaxiRoute, wanting an explanation and he replied stating
we were wrong on all accounts. We replied immediately and told him we were not and that we wanted an explanation. He then replied stating on the e-mail that he would
explain how he found us and the methods involved. We received a reply on the 2nd of March stating that they used a software program to search our site.. We replied
and told him we were unhappy at this. Then guess what, on the 3rd of March, more emails were used to what they though was contacting our clients. None of them got
through. We complained again and warned him that we will take action and have a page come up for his search term and inform people of his spamming techniques, (of
which we have kept the proof), such as TaxiRoute and Taxi Route. We never received a reply Until 5 months later at 04/08/2009 21:21, he sent a website link, for what we think is berating our design
capabilities, (he obviously though that after 5 months he was safe thinking that we could not get the page up for his search term. Obviously it would not come up because we did not link to the page at all, UNTIL TONIGHT).
Now because we have linked to it as of 11.00am on the 12 of August our page comes up number 3 in a search for "taxiroute" and it wont be long before it comes up for "taxi route" and "taxi fare calculator".
Well to be honest it does not matter what methods he used to find our mail. The e-mails are from our domain and we know where they originally came from as they were
intentionally hidden so they would not be manually sent to any of our clients. If the e-mails that we have made up are sent then it immediately is flagged and none
of the mails can get through to our clients.
Personally I know none of our members would you use a website that uses spamming techniques to contact people about their site. I definitely know that we would not
tolerate anyone in our employment who uses such tactics, They would be sacked immediately.

This page was designed away back in march but it wasn't linked from any of our sites so that it would not come up for the search "Taxiroute".
But low and behold Trevor of Taxi Route sent a few emails to the webmaster trying to belittle his design talents so with this in mind we have decided to link to this taxiroute
page and see if it come up. p.s. As of 14th of August this page come sup for the search term, "taxiroute" and we have only linked to it from two of our other
powerful sites. We have another 7 powerful sites that are operating that we might link from. I'm sure Trevor will be in contact soon and we will keep you informed. If
and when, and I'm sure "when", this all becomes heated. We will let you know the full details of the emails he has sent to us or phone calls. This page will
remain until we get an apology on the Taxiroute website.
One thing for sure, I'm so glad our webmasters main field is optimization.
