About the Weem Hotel
The Weem Hotel located nr to Aberfeldy is a quite delightful small highland country inn-style hotel, formerly a historic Coaching Inn situated at the foot of Weem Rock, near Aberfeldy. The hotel was the barracks for General Wade’s troops building the nearby famous Wades bridge over the river Tay in the 18th century.
Weem is a village on the B846 right on the peaceful outskirts of Aberfeldy in Perthshire, Scotland. Nearby is the 16th century Castle Menzies, where Bonnie Prince Charlie spent two nights on his way to the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
The Weem Hotel has 12 rather quaint, very cosy and spacious, totally rustic, atmospheric and unmistakeably Scottish highland inn style bedrooms. Not one room is similar to the other. We have a large family room, one single room only for singles – and 11 other delightful large and spacious rooms, most ‘with views’ - which can be either twin or double following the advent of zip and link beds – allowing a large queen or two cosy singles – as needs require. This gives Weem hotel the flexibility to accommodate small groups and parties of all shapes and sizes.
Glasgow Airport Transfers to Weem can be arranged here.
