About THE FERRYMANS COTTAGE GUEST HOUSE PITLOCHRY
Ferryman's Cottage Four Star Bed and Breakfast accommodation is situated in a fantastic location in Pitlochry, Perthshire. A cosy stone cottage built some 300 years ago on the banks of the River Tummel, it was the boatman's home before the bridge was built in 1913 to serve the locals and cattle crossing the River Tummel.
Ferrymans is the only bed and breakfast on the theatre side of the river, which makes an ideal location for this seasons programme of the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The area surrounding Pitlochry has many tourist attractions & history. Within Pitlochry we have Edradour, which is the smallest distillery in Scotland. There is also the Pitlochry dam & famous Salmon Ladder. Through a glassed viewing area you can watch salmon leap as they return to their spawning grounds.
