The Caledonian Hotel Oban is centrally situated, this fine family owned hotel has recently been carefully refurbished and provides luxury accommodation. Oban is the perfect gateway for exploring Argyll and the Isles, discover a castle or two or sail to Mull, Iona and the Inner Hebrides. The hotel is located on Station Square about 1 minute 30 seconds walk from the Oban ferry terminal.   This Oban Hotel which is graded as a 3 star hotel by Visit Scotland has 70 bedrooms of which 59 have en-suite facilities, Caledonian Hotel offers budget bedrooms, including rooms with views out to sea.

There are three different types of rooms available at the Caledonian Hotel.

The Captain's room
Tthese large well appointed bedrooms have been refurbished within the year of 2009, these rooms boast magnificent west facing views over Oban Bay to the Hebridean Island of Mull and the mountains of Morvern

Ocean View rooms
guarantee uninterrupted west facing views as above with feature bed. All have a distinct character and have been fully refurbished within the last year and are standard in size.

Standard rooms
These rooms are of a similar size and standard to Ocean View rooms but have a view to McCaig's Folly or the Soroba Hills; some are more compact but have an Ocean View. Two disabled rooms are also available

13 Single Bedrooms, 10 Double Bedrooms, 40 Twin bedroom
7 Family Bedrooms.  59 Bedrooms en-suite.
