I'm Not Paying That! |
| I remember I was waiting at the rank and a family - husband and wife and two children, came up to the rank. The woman, who obviously was the boss of the family asked the price into Glasgow. Now considering the price to the start of Glasgow was £5.00 and the other end of Glasgow was about £21.00. The driver said the price was about £12.00, which was the price into the city center. The woman looked shocked and said I'm not paying that! and preceded to push her children and husband away from the rank. As I watched the woman headed for the bus where she would have to pay a fare into Glasgow City four times. Then once in the city she would have to pay for more transport to wherever she was going to. The price she would have paid was a lot more that the £12.00 quoted by the driver! She basically went in a strop because she didin't want to give the driver the whole £12.00 to himself. He He He... |
