The Dunalastair Hotel is located in the town of Kinloch Rannoch in the main square off the B846, which is a continuation of the B8019. The 18 miles drive is quite intense while breathtaking, you drive through the tight forestry on the B8019 with right angled hair pins then your road opens up to an fantastic view above Loch Tummel and Rannoch Forest Park which lies on the south side of Loch Rannoch. The hotel is perfectly located with all the main Scottish tourist attractions in central Scotland. Tourist towns such as Pitlochry, Killiecrankie, Kenmore and Dunkeld. Castles within the area are Castle Menzies & Blair Atholl.

The bedrooms have recently been newly refurbished, again with décor and fabric carefully chosen to echo the colours and texture of this beautiful area, and creating a subtle blend of stately, graceful elegance with homely charm. Easily accessible and spacious ground floor bedrooms, including fully disabled friendly and equipped bedrooms, are available in a very quiet part of the hotel. We have now introduced our Spa Rooms here at Dunalastair. All rooms are ensuite, have controllable heating, colour televisions with satellite channels, hair dryers and hospitality trays and many boast fine views over the village and surrounding countryside.
