As the taxis were waiting at the taxi rank for a hire, four
men walked up to
the first taxi at the rank and asked the driver a price to a destination
which was a well over 70 miles. the driver said the price was
£60.00. The leader of the gang, who was obviously was the
intelligent one, said "naw that's too high" and they all then preceded to
walk away. The taxi driver watching them walk away suddenly
said "wait a minuite if you want I'll take you all for £15.00 per
person... They all looked at each other and then said all right
- that's a great deal! I wonder if they ever realised? He He He... |
