Ayr Town is located on the central West Coast of Scotland at the Firth of Clyde. The ferry from Troon will
take you over to Isle of Arran and by car Ayr Town is 37 miles south of Glasgow City.
The population of Ayr at the last census is 46,431. Famous for Alloway of Ayr is Rabbie Burns the nations Scottish poet.
Sports wise we have the Ayr Racecourse and there is the Ayr FC Football Team and next door we have the Kilmarnock Football team. North of
Ayr we have Prestwick Airport which is famous for Freight Transport and it is the ONLY place in Britain where Elvis Presley has visited. We also have Troon where
the British Open Golf Championship is played. South of Ayr we have Culzean Castle & Country Park, Turnberry Castle, Crossraguel Abbey & Johnnie
