Personally I'm extremely happy that the main motorway
in Ayrshire is the A77, this motorway has been drastically improved with a
new safer section from the Means (M77) to Kilmarnock and a much improved
and wider section just before Turnberry from the Kirksowald section. Both
these new and improved sections have made the A77 a safer place to travel.
From Kilmarnock to just beyond Girvan they have implemented the new
Average Speed camera, this ensures that travelling time is limited to the
correct speed.
