Travelling south from North of
Scotland is quite easy to Aviemore as you will best to make your way
south on the A9 from Inverness and passing through Aviemore. If you are coming from the North East then you can head as before to inverness then head down the A9 of you can travel through Speyside via the A95.
Please drive slowly once in town as Aviemore is a very busy Tourist
town.

Travelling from the south, (West Side), follow the A74 / M74
and take the M73 until it joins the A80 continue northwards until the A80
changes into the M80 and further northwards you will look for the A9 Perth
and once you reach the A9 it will be a continuous road until you see the
signs for Pitlochry. Travelling from the south, (East
Side), follow the A1 for Edinburgh Forth Road Bridge. Pick up signs
for Forth Road bridge and once you cross Forth Road bridge you will be
travelling northwards on the M90 and further northwards you will look for
the A9 Perth and once you reach the A9 headed for Inverness it will be a continuous road until
you see the signs for Aviemore.
